Good times were the late 90s. Probably the best years of our lives. And if you liked some games such as Donkey Kong Country, you might remember this one. Banjo-Kazooie is a video game franchise produced by Rare, the same creators of Battletoads and Conker the Squirrel.

Characters

  • Banjo: a bear who loves playing banjo and he has a bag where Kazooie is stored;
  • Kazooie: Banjo's best friend. While the bear is friendly the red bird is annoying and loud, and she plays a kazoo, just to bother his friends;
  • Gruntilda: a witch who kidnaped Tooty, and she's always destroyed and/or defeated by Banjo and Kazooie at the end of every game;
  • Tooty: Bnjo's sister;
  • Mumbo Jumbo: Banjo and Kazooie's friends, who has magical powers and helps them in various ocasions;
  • Bottles: Like Lakitu on Super Mario 64, this mole watches Banjo and Kazooie's adventures;
  • Klungo: Grunty's miniom. It really looks like Glutko, but he has two eyes;

Bano-Tooie's sequel, but instead of a game for the Wii, Banjo is now a character for the XBox console. After 8 years (without counting the GBA spin-off), Grunty comes back, at least, her skull, and some guy, called: the Lord of Games (???), who decided to create a racing game instead the classic platformng game. It looks like, a cartoony version of Need For Speed. Even for an acceptable sequel, Rare fans didn't liked the company's partnership with Microsoft, saying that it was a bigger disaster than Disney buying Marvel.
