Mr. X is the name of a investigative journalist who dug up all sorts of scandalous information that he would then post on his website. Due to the pseudonym he took on, no one knew who he was, nor did they realize that he'd be eavesdropping on their conversations. Eventually, though, at a ceremony where he was to be awarded with the Pulitzer Prize, he revealed that he was in fact Homer Simpson.
