The worst Sonic cartoon according to many people, Sonic Underground had some of the same storyline as SatAM. Robotnik takes over Mobius and someone has to stop him. The queen has to give up her children because she fears they may be captured by Robotnik. She gives them to 3 other people, and runs off, hiding.
Sonic later finds out he has a brother and sister, and it is his quest to stop Robotnik. After playing his "Song from the Heart", they meet up. Uncle Chuck returns in this, not roboticized.
The first Sonic Underground was made by Deepercutt.
