Your face is visible in the mirror. The mirror reflects light back into your face, devieving your eyes with an acutal image of your face. Quite wonderful, isn't it?
Ganon's offer
Ganon wanted to make your face the greatest in Koridai. Whether this means in size or recognition is unknown, but it's most likely Ganon wants to deceive visitors so their faces can die for his amusement.
