Description

Arthur is a kid's show on PBS about an aardvark named Arthur Read, chronicling his life at home and at school, as well as other places throughout Elwood City. Most episodes revolve around problems the characters face, and they meet a solution and learn a moral (like pretty much every kid's show). Even though it's called "Arthur", some of the episodes just have him standing in the background doing random shit. It's been running since 1996 and still going strong, as the second longest-running American animated series (behind The Simpsons.)

Further information

  • The series has also inspired a spin-off called Postcards from Buster, which really has little to do with Arthur at all.
  • It was based off of a book by Mark Brown about an aardvark named Arthur who was ashamed of his nose. Ironically, Arthur barely even has a nose nowadays.
