Description[edit]
A hot-blooded mecha anime chronicling the adventures of Simon, a down-on-his-luck loser, Kamina, a hot-blooded man who declares himself Simon's "brother", and Yoko, who has tons of fanboys. It was created by Studio Gainax.
It follows the adventures of Simon and Kamina, after finding a tiny glowing drill and a giant face, called a Gunman. After living for years in their underground city, Kamina tries to reach the surface, claiming his father had taken him there once. One day, a giant Gunman crashes through the roof, and Kamina is proven correct. However, Kamina's sheer manpower proves useless at a time like this, until Yoko, a 14 year old girl capable of carrying large breasts and destroying Gunmen drops from the surface to help them out. Using the Gunman, Simon, Kamina, and Yoko take out the Gunman and reach the surface. The continuing adventure follows them trying to take down the Spiral King, and eventually fighting the moon itself. Yeah, not kidding.
