== In The Anime ==
'''Pikachu''' is [[Ash Ketchum]]'s first (and favorite) [[Pokemon]] who is annoying beyond comprehension of the human mind. He refuses to climb into a Pokeball because he's ''such'' a rebel. It has tendencies to randomly electrocute various people with amperes that would usually be [[Die|fatal]], but it's an anime intended for young viewers so that's a no-go.

For some stupid reason, [[Team Rocket]] spends their lives attempting to pursue and capture Pikachu, especially Ash's Pikachu in particular, often in the form of cliche [[traps]] such as [[The Pit|pits in the ground]] or even as far as [[G Gundam|giant robots]]. In the end of every episode, Pikachu is still at Ash's side and the cycle starts all over the next episode.

== In The Games ==
Pikachu is #25 in the [[Enclosed Instruction Book|National Pokédex]] and is apparently so weak that [[TREE|Oak]] can catch it without battle. It evolves into a Raichu with a Thunder Stone.
*In "Pokemon Yellow", you can talk to it, and it will tell you how it feels about you. He probably hates you. 
*In "Hey [[You]], Pikachu!" you can swear at Pikachu and call him bad names to piss him off. Hilarious.
*In "Pokemon Snap" you can throw apples or gas balls at it and make it run away. What a coward.
*In the Generation V games ("Black/White" and "Black 2/White 2"), it's actually impossible to get Pikachu without transferring from Generation IV! Scary, I know.
