==History==
Alyx first discovered YTP in 2010, and continued to watch YTPers such as [https://youchew.net/wiki/page/DaThings1 Dathings1] and [https://youchew.net/wiki/page/Cs188 cs188] until circa 2013 when she decided to start making her own YTPs. She made a whole bunch of YTPs with [https://youchew.net/wiki/page/IMovie iMovie] during 2013-early 2015, some of which were uploaded to a now deleted channel. In early-to-mid 2015, she bought [https://youchew.net/wiki/page/Vegas_Pro#Movie_Studio Movie Studio 13], and made a few more YTPs. She then created her current channel (under the name FaultyRodude) and uploaded these, and soon after that she joined her first collab, the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJOC01nd2ms Michael Rosen 69th Birthday Collab]. Around this time, she joined Twitter and became good friends with [https://youchew.net/wiki/page/AlyxOrSomething#Friends other YTPers]. In mid-to-late 2015, she changed her channel name to A-L-Y-X, and made an updated version of her profile picture. For the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Eqy7gQKeBU Michael Rosen 70th Birthday Collab], [https://youchew.net/wiki/page/Nintendom64 Nintendom64] asked her to collaborate and they created [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxg8ZDrR7DA The Quest For Forehead Rosen], which gathered widespread acclaim. It was also her first major [https://youchew.net/wiki/page/Flash_Poop animated] YTP. In mid-to-late 2016, she changed her channel name and picture again, this time her channel name to AlyxOrSomething. Later that year she left the YTP community entirely due to personal drama with certain other members (which has now been resolved), only returning in late 2018. In 2019, she made [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTuM6xBNFdI The Most Violent Moment Of All Time] and submitted it to the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdXlDcLvc7Q Michael Rosen 73rd Birthday Collab]. It was the biggest video she'd ever attempted, and it gained universal praise, leading her to eventually start a YTP series continuing after the events of it (still in development lul).
