'''Mapo''' (stylized as '''mapo''') is an American YouTube Pooper who is well known for his heavy use of effects, experimental editing style, and pioneering small inside jokes that occasionally saw more widespread use throughout the YouTube Poop community. Mapo takes on the identity of Fritz the Cat from Ralph Bakshi's 1972 film named after the character.

==History==
He was familiar with [[YouTube Poop]] since way back in 2009 and 2010. How he discovered it is unknown (couldn't remember). Back then there was a lot of [[Hotel Mario]] poops and [[Link: The Faces of Evil]] poops in which he tried to make both back then but they were so terrible, he eventually deleted them from his first YouTube channel he ever had. He lost interest until 2015 when he found a close friend who is a fan of YTP which got him into YTP again. He became so addicted to YTP, he created his own YouTube channel dedicated to YTP which is called ''MashedPotatoesforSuS'' after making his first YTP. That was a terrible name, so he changed it to just ''potatoes''. He watched a lot of regular style poops like [[cjflo]], [[Dikekike]], and [[cs188]] back then but he also found a new style of YTP that really got his attention. Thanks to TheCaledioScope, he discovered erosion pooping. Potatoes was amazed at what one can do with a video editing software and a source by adding a lot of effects and all that 3D good stuff. He also eventually found more poopers with a similar style such as [[Cheechee]], and [[fiv95]] which he were a fan of! Potatoes joined the [[YouChew]] forums in January 2016. It is where he discovered things like tennis and it is also how he found some of his favorite poopers! He started to play [[tennis]] the same month he joined YouChew and his first opponent is [[53v3n733n]] (aka MrAsir17). YouTube Poop Tennis has definitely changed the way how potatoes makes his YouTube Poops. He learned how to make erosion style videos thanks to tennis. He uploads his tennis videos and erosion videos in his second channel called ''mashed potatoes'' (formerly called ''potatoes tennis''). In September 2016, he changed his name to ''mapo'' and made his secondary channel his main and abandoned his channel that was once his main. He went on to do exclusively erosion videos, but by around 2018, he ended up focusing more on experimental video editing instead of focusing on heavy effects usage. He still does that to this day but it is not as common. In late 2018, mapo has fully switched to Linux which around that time, was dabbling with it on a spare computer in the basement but then he heard about a Windows 10 update that caused the files in the User folder to be deleted. That event has convinced him to switch to Linux. Despite how hard it may seem for a YouTube Pooper to switch to Linux due to the lack of software support, mapo managed to find ways make videos with Vegas with a Windows 10 Virtual Machine via VMware. Then he managed to figure out how to get Vegas Pro 13 working on Wine in early 2019 when nobody else had in the past. In early 2019, mapo has discovered AnyDesk, a remote desktop program. He initially discovered it for a big collab hosted by MemeKirisame but it ended up useful for making small scale collaborations with one or more people in his circle. The first small scale collaboration that was made this way was called ''ytp boomtown'' with afterbirth. The first collab with more than 1 other person is called ''ytp frankfurter'' with zevio, [[Cheechee]], and [[BananaMannafoot]].
