I started out in 2008, with "That's Terribly Sexy", but I really got into making YTP in 2011 when I spent almost a year unemployed (long story). I taught myself how to use Adobe Premiere and eventually transitioned into using Sony Vegas. Youtube Poop (to me) is like an abstract/surrealist/satirical form of video art. It helps me flex my creative muscles. When I make poops, I like to try to make people laugh, and give them a few WTF moments, all the while trying to not do the same thing over and over.

As of 2016 my output has slowed down quite a bit, but I still enjoy making YTP's (I wanna make sure what I put out is really worth putting out). I don't foresee quitting any time soon, as long as I can come up with ideas for poops.

2009 was the year I made the youtube account nintendodude65 for game reviews and other stuff unrelated to youtube poop

in January 2011 I opened the spacman191 account just for liking and favoriting videos because I did not know how to inport cd-i or other sources on youtube or what the video editors anyone uses were.

December 2011 was the month I downloaded the extra fx from the fx archive for windows movie maker.

"Skrillex Tribute YTPMVs" are basically a hodge-podge of different sounds from different sources, synched up with to the rhythm of "Kill Everybody". Video descriptions were often written in all caps with bad grammar and contained farcical messages about the death of Skrillex. Most people who participated in the trend did so because of a dislike for Skrillex, and as a result the general public saw them as [[trap]] videos.
