I was a part of the YouChew community for years, and those times were some of the most exciting of my life. But as it's been years since I last made a video, I figure that it's well past due time that I retire this wiki page. Thank you to everyone who endured both the videos I produced, and my often obnoxious presence on the forums. Godspeed.

The Youtube Poop IRC(or #ytp) is the unofficial Internet Relay Chatroom for Youtube Poop. However, being an IRC chatroom, there is usually no clear or consistent topic, while at other times everyone will be participating in IRC activities made up by frequenters of the chatroom. Most of the time it has nothing to do with Youtube Poop.

The current ops at the IRC are [[ShadowWario]] and [[ADHDYoshi]].

Occasionally there are various IRC activities going on in the chatroom, some are planned out when they will take place, others occur out of boredom.

====Spamming====
Usually involving word spamming, but can occasionally be image spamming or poop spamming. However, you can be kicked automatically for word spamming too much.

====IRC RPG Battles====
These, like the name goes, are RPG battles that take place within the chatroom, often involving everyone else against ChanServ, as he can't really do anything. Players often associate attacks with their names or their videos, as well as various Youtube Poop memes.

The RPG "battles" go like a [[Final Fantasy]] battle would: players take turns attacking, and then the opponent attacks (or if against ChanServ, ShadowWario will attack for it).

====Runescape====
Also known as Run Escape, this game is named after the famous MMORPG, Runescape. The game is to simply poke fun at the actual game and perhaps the players by mimicking a typical Runescape game. This includes saying click, but can include other in-game events, such as

*Mining
*Killing random goblins and chickens running around
*Finding that one gold piece laying in the ground
*Following a guy around because he has that dragon armor that you want so badly
*Burying bones
*Begging for money

Although the chatroom is relatively unknown (or not enough people care), and the chatroom rarely ever exceeds 10 people, the chatroom has spawned a few memes of it's own.

It could be considered that AFRIVAN is a spin-off of the [[YouChewPoop]] meme [[Africans]], but regardless, be sure to say hi to the living meme for me.

====Bonerman====
Bonerman was created by [[ShadowWario]], and is a smiling ASCII stick figure with a really large [[penis|PINGAS]]. The origins of Bonerman are unknown, and he appears at random times, most often under the guidance of ShadowWario.

This refers to [[ADHDYoshi]], as even though he is an Op on the chatroom, he rarely ever speaks, hence sometimes referred to as the 'dead corpse' of the chatroom. Chanserv doesn't even list him as Auto Away like most others would be placed as after not speaking for a long while.

This interesting moment occurred on March 25th after a person by the name of ''becky'' stumbled into the chatroom. She apparently though that YTP stood for ''Young Teens Place'' or something like that. She was confused by everyone's behavior, which at the time, everyone was typing in caps. She had no idea what Youtube Poop was, and was confused by the sample videos shown to her.

Coincidentally, someone named [[Morshu|IAMSHOPKEEP]] showed up soon afterwards, and started spamming with "I am shopkeeper♥♥sexy sexy" repeatedly. Soon, everyone started changing their names to certain [[Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog|AoStH]] characters, like Scratch, Astronaut Tails or Robotnik, and spammed as well, copying ''IAMSHOPKEEP''s spam, cutting out shopkeeper, and adding the AoStH character's name instead.

As everything calmed down again, an RPG Battle was warming up. She left during the battle, being in the chatroom for approximately 90 minutes.

== ChanServ ==

ChanServ is the main admin of the IRC. Like, even more than [[ShadowWario]]. It is a joke to tell ChanServ to "get offa our cloud" or have RPG-style battles with him/her/it. He also bans anyone who posts a link as their first post, which has unluckily fallen on [[PeskeyPlumber]] two or three times.

At one time, [[ShadowWario]] got rid of him, but wanted him back because we couldn't do ChanServ-only features, like ban. It was so life-threatening and horrible, that [[Christoph|a professional]] was brought in to fix everything up. But they successfully turned spambot off.

Other than this, ChanServ is pretty much as worthless as [[ADHDYoshi]] in his dead corpse form.

A stutter loop is the playing of a very fast clip, usually a few milliseconds in length played over and over for added effect and annoyingness. The sound generates the effect in this. Most of the time, the clip will be of somebody saying a word, with a hard consonant or syllable cut out (Such as "Wha" from "What?" or "Na" from Now). It can also be a swishing effect played over and over for a rather strange effect. Occasionally the clip will be sped up or slowed down at random times during the loop.

A slight variation involves the clip being played normally, then reversed, then played normally again over and over. Clips used in this are generally a slight and sudden action of somebody or something, such as someone lifting their arm or turning around. In this version, the sound doesn't produce the effect, the video clip itself does.

Most of the time, the clip will be of somebody saying a word, with a hard consonant or syllable cut out (Such as "Wha" from "What?" or "Na" from Now). It can also be a swishing effect played over and over for a rather strange effect. Occasionally the clip will be sped up or slowed down at random times during the loop.

A slight variation involves the clip being played normally, then reversed over and over. Clips used in this are generally a slight and sudden action of somebody or something, such as someone lifting their arm or turning around. In this version, the sound doesn't produce the effect, the video clip itself does.

Not to be confused with the microsoft blue screen of death, this controversial poopism is also a hallmark of AIDS as many have used it without a proper understanding of it irony. Quite simply, there are thousands of available fonts and millions of available colours, so to use the wmm default text style is a complete rejection of tech and pays tribute to youtube and trash aesthetics.

Sadly, all sense of irony was lost and the blue screen of death was used in all earnestness by a new generation of poopers. Windows Vista wmm, with it's own set of defaults has resulted in this poopism starting to die out, although on screen text is still with us, in the form of [[Tech Text]] and [[It's Just a Game]]

==[[Censor Beep]]==

Often used in conjunction with [[You Cut]] and other sentence mixing methods. A word is beeped a to make it seem as though a swear word was censored. This trend became a hallmark for 3rd generation poops and is considered by many to be a symptom of [[AIDS]]. The cure for this, should the AIDS victim wish to redeem themselves is the [[Word Trim]] of words to create the actual swear words which had previously been implied.

An apparently normal scene (that is not [[cd-i]]) takes place that demonstrates some peril. At a key moment the footage is freeze framed and the phrase "DIE" can be heard, the scene may then resume with or without actually showing a death. An alternative is "IDEH".

The obsessional fetishistic use of [[Zelda]] footage sentence mixing that includes substitutions of the words dinner, cakes, It burns, die (see above), etc.

==[[Ear Rape]]==

Turning the volume up to maximum so the it is utterly distorted. A popular choice with those that wish to annoy, but usually use sparingly in order to cause surprise

==[[Elemental]]==

A rich mans MS PAINT JOB in which a photographic has been cut out and placed onto a shot. Popular choices include Luigis face, and weapons. Name after Photoshop and Premiere Elements.

==[[Erosion]]==

The use of a posterfy style filter that erodes the image in order to simplify and dilute detail. This can often have a very unnerving effect, especially when use for prolonged periods.

==[[Extreme Slow-Mo]]==

Reducing the speed of a clip to around one frame per second - used both for comedic effect but also for mystery and a rather eerie suspense.

A question posed is answered with a number of different items; clips from many various sources.

==[[It's Just a Game]]==

The use of flash graphics to suggest a poop is integrated into some kind of video game. Effective use can even suggest retro game hardware such as LCD graphics or on screen help instructions. Has been recently used over Warioware clips, suggesting certain characters have their own set of microgames.

==[[Lock-Up]]==

Similar to a Stutter Loop but goes on for nearly the entire duration of the video. Similar to a PC locking up (crashing) mid way through playing a sound file. Slight variations are also common to suggest subliminal interference and serve to encourage viewer to watch the entire piece for fear of missing an important moment.

==[[MS PAINT JOB]]==

Badly painting over a freeze-frame. Popular choices include bulging eyes or open mouths.

==[[Mysterious Zoom]]==

The slow zooming in to an apparently innocent part of the frame, such as the king's elbow or Mario's nose. See also the Needless Close Up

==[[Needless Close-Up]]==

A static close up on part of the picture, often making it difficult to tell what the original image was.

==[[Nouns Replaced with (item)]]==

Takes an often familiar scene and replaces nouns or sometimes verbs or specific words with a selected choice; these include explosions or other meme phrases.

A character becomes locked up (see below) whilst those around him are unaffected

For some unexplainable reason, nearly all popular sources for YouTube Poop include a character pointing. This includes [[Fat Mario]] and [[Gay Luigi]] pointing to the sky, [[Mama Luigi]] pointing out Mario's mistake, [[King]] pointing in a number or directions as his arm gesticulate wildly, Hip (or is it Hop?) pointing to a Volcano, [[George the Volcano]] pointing to [[Tyrannosaurus Alan]] and so on. Taken out of context these people could all be pointing to anything and often end up pointing to some kind of disaster.

Often used within the body of a poop rather than on it's own a rape rave takes a clips or series of clips and replaces the around with dance music plus adds a quickly changing colorise filter to suggest night-club lighting.

==[[Right There]]==

A meta-poopism which slows down or freeze frames a scene in order for the pooper to point out an error or otherwise interesting or funny detail.

==[[Stare Down]]==

A freeze of a character to suggest he/she is staring either at someone else being annoying or perhaps staring back. Sometimes the starer looks to the camera with an uneasy silence to suggest his disapproval of the previous scene.

==[[Stutter Loop]] ==

A simple and very quick loop of footage that repeats a short number of time to add emphasis.

==[[Stutter Loop plus]]==

The addition of rotation or horizantol/verticle flipping

The stutter loop can only be heard and not seen. See the infamous Robotnik Chair-Sitting Scene.

The use of absurdly sophisticated special effects for little more than a cheap laugh. It was been argued that this is in fact a genre of poop but as yet there are very few choosing to take this route. In a similar that [[Tech Text]] evolved from [[Blue Screen of Death]] this methodology clearly evolved from [[MS PAINT JOB]] For good examples of this see the work of [[Link123456]].

The use of seemingly sophisticated motion graphics and on screen text as either a means to communicate to the viewer or as a form of personal idents. Notable users include [[Glitchboyadvance]]. This poopism was fathered by [[Blue Screen of Death]] and it's super evevolved stare is [[It's Just a Game]].

==[[Vanilla Loop]]==

A plain loop of footage, often around a second long with no added variety. Popular with early Poopers due to it's extreme annoyance factor plus ease of making.

==[[Vanilla Surprise]]==

It seems like a Vanilla Loop but in fact their are secret surprise to add variety. This may not even happen until the very end.

==[[Virus]]==

Similar to Erosion but uglier and nastier. A complete breakdown of a coherent image and often accompanied by extremely loud and relentless noise. The state of the image, whilst perhaps beings of an identifiable origin has been abused that codec artifacts and the like are very common.

==[[Voice of Poop]]==

The addition of common word and phrases into the soundtrack of a clip. Popular choices include "Mama Luigi", "That's Mama Luigi to You" "Spaghetti" and "Dinner" (see Dinner Fetish above)

==[[Word Trim]]==

Reducing a word in order to create new made up word. Made famous by [[elmullet]]'s [[Uctions]] series.

==[[You Cut]]==

The use of a word that closley resemles another word. Named after the [[mrSimon]] YTP video ident. Another good exaple is Robotnik yelling "Penis"

==[[YTPMV]]==

A YTPMV is the process of editing clips in such a way they become musical - sometimes as if the characters are even singing. Many people add synth tracks or video game music in the background to keep the music going. A YTPMV is not the lip syncing an existing song to popular YouTube Poop characters.
