Brayds first discovered YTP in approximately 2008. Although he can't remember the first poop he watched, the earliest he can remember watching is Cheetahmen92's Commercial Explosion series.

In late 2009, Brayds created his first poop: "YTP #1: TV I(nsane)dents". The 1:58-long video features visual gags edited from poor quality clips of TV Logos. The poop remained offline until Brayds uploaded it on his alt-account in September 2012.

Over the course of the next year, Brayds made three poops, originally uploading two of them to a non-poop account. By the time of the third poop (fourth overall), Brayds made the decision to move his existing poops to a dedicated channel. As a result, "BraydsYTP" was born on October 12th, 2010. These early poops mostly consisted of a random assortment of sources and basic reversing and repeating edits.

After a five-month break, Brayds returned with a quartet of Magic School Bus poops in March 2011. These started to show off the style Brayds would come to develop. Along with a twin set of commercial poops (inspired by Cheetahmen92's early work), these videos marked Brayds' first foray into regular poop-making.

In June, Brayds made his first Michael Rosen YTP: "Michael Rosen and the Pennsylvania Tomato". This was the first video that Brayds considered to be successful, more than quadrupling his previously-miniscule like count. In October he made "The Tom", a short poop of the first episode of "The Tommy Wi-Show", which gained the attention of the production crew of the show and even Tommy Wiseau himself. It quickly became a series of poops running parallel to the original program, usually uploaded within a day of each original episode.

February 2012 brought "Gotye Once Knew Someome" into the world. Initially receiving no significant attention, that changed after cs188 released his Gotye poop, which caused Brayds' poop to show up in the related videos bar, significantly boosting its views into the thousands (and eventually hundreds-of-thousands). Despite Brayds' regret of the quality of the poop, it remains his most popular video.

With his new-found subscriber base, Brayds' continued making YTPs, with his Michael Rosen poops and poops of British Television shows (such as Blockbusters) gaining the most attention.

As of June 2014, BraydsYTP has 818 subscribers and he continues to make around one or two YTPs a month.
